Bella Vita Gifts & Interiors is the perfect place to go when you need something new for your home or you need that perfect gift for a dear friend. They have everything from cozy socks and jewelry to pottery and original artwork. Seriously, it is one of those places that you have a hard time walking out of without wanting to buy one of everything. A few months ago I began working with them to photograph all of their amazing items for their website and social media. I liked Bella Vita before but now it has turned in to a full blown love affair.

Did you know they offer a full service bridal registry?  Their bridal consultants will assist you in selecting the perfect bedding, table linens, pottery, dishware, cookbooks and original artwork for your home. They have shared some tips and insights on creating the perfect registry that we would love to share with you.

Can you tell us a little bit about Bella Vita and how it started?
We began in 2001 in Cordova as a gift boutique! We’ve since moved to Collierville and have been growing, growing, growing. In addition to gifts, we also offer pretty home & interior items like bedding, artwork, and lighting. We carry some wonderful dinnerware & pottery lines that our brides love. And, in case you haven’t heard yet, we are moving our store to Germantown this March. We’re expanding on our bridal registry as well and building an entire room exclusive to place settings, hostess gifts, and all things wedding-related!

What kind of registry does Bella Vita offer Brides?
We focus mostly on dinnerware and serving ware. Some of our favorite brands include Etta B Pottery & Casafina. We love to help brides find their perfect place setting and encourage mixing & matching across multiple brands. Once you’ve picked your dinnerware, we also have plenty of glassware, linens, decor, & bedding to add. We’re here to serve you throughout the whole process with a dedicated bridal consultant to answer all your questions. And, while we may seem like a small, local business, our website stays fully updated with all our products. Your registry will be listed online as well, so out-of-town guests can shop, too!

What is your number one most popular item?

Etta B Pottery is our best selling pottery line. We’re also super proud of the fact that we have the largest stock of Etta B Pottery in the entire nation! So, you’re guaranteed to see the most options, colors, and pieces at Bella Vita. Specifically in this line, the colors Simply White & Charming White continue to be at the top of everyone’s list.

Are there any new trends you anticipate seeing in 2019 when it comes to bridal registry?
The all-white look is and continues to be so popular. We’ve had many brides register for a more modern, clean line style in mostly whites and your occasional dash of color. Also, it’s become important to our brides to choose a place setting thats pretty and versatile. Something they can dress up for parties, but is sturdy enough for everyday use is a must have now.

Any tips or tricks you have for new couples when considering their registry?
Browse our selection online so you know what you like! Think about how often you entertain and how big your family is when considering how many place settings to register for. And last, so that we can give you our undivided attention, we required that brides make a registry appointment in-store with us. Make your registry about 6-8 months before your wedding date, as a good rule of thumb.

Bella Vita is currently located on Houston Levee in Collierville, TN.  In March, they will open a much larger space in the new Thornwood development in Germantown, TN.  They will have a new bridal room to make building your registry even easier and will have much more space to showcase all of the amazing brands that they offer. I am so excited to see it!
