Morgan + Doug || Memphis Wedding Photographer
Morgan and Doug got married on a beautiful November day. And when I say “beautiful” I am definitely being sarcastic! I’ve heard of rain on your wedding day being good luck, but what about tornado strength winds?! But despite the less than ideal weather, this couple made the most of their special day. Let’s take a look at some getting ready pics!
Morgan wore a stunning dress from Maggie Louise Bridal and check out those shoes! Morgan’s mother wore the same shoes on her wedding day 40 years ago!
There were a couple occasions where the wind worked in our favor. It helped show off Morgan’s gorgeous lace veil!
Before the ceremony, Morgan and her bridesmaids took a moment to pray over Morgan and Daniel’s marriage. I’m so glad I got to capture this sweet moment between friends!
Morgan and Doug chose to wait until the ceremony to see each other. Of course I had to capture his face the first time he sees his bride walking down the aisle! He looks like the happiest man in the world right here!
After they said “I do!” the newlyweds and their guests headed over to The Barn at Swepston Jones for their rustic fall reception. This venue is truly one of a kind and made their vision for their special day a reality!
DeepBlu Entertainment provided the music for the night, and boy do they know how to throw a party!
Congratulations Morgan and Doug! I am so happy I got to brave the weather with you and be a part of your special day! Best of wishes to you two as you start your lives together!
